FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DATA MINING COURSE SERIES PRESENTS PROJECT DESIGN THROUGH IMPLEMENTATION FOR PREDICTIVE MODELING

JULY 21, 2009 PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA -- The Modeling Agency (TMA), a data mining training, consulting and solutions company has redesigned its three-level course series for predictive modeling.  Each level offers a different and specific orientation to predictive modeling.

"Data Mining: Level I" offers an intensive overview of best practices, strategy and case studies for managers and project leaders.  Newly added case studies will allow participants to appreciate the true risks, rewards, limitations and overall potential of predictive analytics.  Attendees will be taught to deal with the real-world messiness of data mining.  Realistic outcomes and business impact will be demonstrated through the case studies.

"Data Mining: Level II" presents a tactical drill-down of methods, techniques and resources for practitioners.  And "Data Mining: Level III" provides series of hands-on exercises in a lab setting to step through the data mining process and put the week’s material into action.  Workshop results will be compared in order to determine what worked, what didn’t, and why.

Those in attendance will learn how experts uncover valuable information and profits hidden within their existing data.  Since TMA is not a tools vendor, participants enjoy a balanced, broad, and non-promotional perspective of data mining.

The courses may be attended individually or as a progression.  Levels I and II are each two days at $1,295 and Level III is a single day at $695. Package discounts of up to $695 may be applied when registering for multiple courses at the same venue.  The series are produced in Washington-DC, Las Vegas, Orlando and Denver, or may be offered at client sites.

Full details to include events schedule, complete outlines, package pricing, instructor experience, site information and a secure registration form may be referenced at:
