SwiftStack will demonstrate a production eSports workflow built around SwiftStack software, Cisco UCS S-Series Storage Servers, and Vizrt's Viz One Media Asset Manager in the Cisco booth at NAB, #SU8502CM. SwiftStack will also show how this innovative workflow can extend into Google Cloud Platform and be orchestrated by Cisco CloudCenter. The joint solution offers a fully automated and distributed transcoding workflow using SwiftStack storage on-premises and the cloud-scale compute capabilities of Amazon Web Services. Hybrik's media workflow automation tools –named Best of NAB in 2017 – and SwiftStack enable public-cloud transcoding of private-cloud assets. Users gain the ability to use public cloud computing when needed, incurring far lower cost than traditional server farms and completing transcoding jobs in a fraction of the time, which allows production schedules to be met and content to be monetized more quickly.
