IRI Voracity is a robust, high-performance data management platform combining multiple IRI products and ergonomic wizards to perform and speed data discovery, integration, migration, governance, and analytics. Powered by IRI CoSort or Hadoop engines, and built on the Eclipse IDE for familiarity and extensibility, Voracity supports a wide range of real-time and batch use cases on-premise or in the cloud – from legacy ETL tool replacement to multi-source data cleansing and masking, to data migration and blending. More specifically:
• Voracity classifies, profiles, E-R diagrams and searches data to discover structure, values, relationships, and metadata for use in subsequent operations
• Voracity leverages the data manipulation, transformation, and reformatting features in the CoSort SortCL program in graphically-designed ETL, reorg, subsetting, pivoting and MDM jobs
• Voracity converts data types, record layouts, file formats, and database schema
• Voracity validates, cleanses, enriches, and unifies data to improve quality, and masks, subsets, risk-scores, mocks, and audits PII for security, compliance, and test data management
• Voracity generates detail and summary reports while supporting cross-calc and statistical functions in conjunction with the remapping activities above, or otherwise wrangles big data for BI and analytic platforms, including API feeds to Datadog, KNIME and Splunk
• Voracity metadata is supported in DataSwitch, erwin, MIMB, Value Labs Test Data Hub, etc
