WizSame identifies potential duplicate records based on the user matching criteria. WizSame analyzes one table or compares two tables without having to merge them into one table. The user can filter the matching sets. The matches for duplicate records can be classified as identical (exact match) or similar (fuzzy match).
WizSame can be used to detect duplicate invoices for the same PO, duplicate invoice payments, duplicate entries for customers, employees, vendors, stock items etc.
The auditor can use WizSame to compare the vendors list with the employees list in order to identify employees who are also vendors based upon a match.
The CRM administrator can use WizSame to find existing customers in the new list of potential customers. WizSame reveals records in the new list that are identical or similar to records in the existing database.
The user determines the matching criteria by defining for each field (column) whether it's identical, similar or ignored. The matching criteria can include several conditions connected by AND or OR operators.
Two or more records are duplicate, if they have identical or similar values in one field or in another (e.g., if either the email or the phone number are similar or identical, the record is considered duplicate).
Two or more records are similar to another when the values in a specific field differ by one character, or contain the same values in another order, or contain synonymous values (e.g., NY and New York).
